
Orbis n' Disaster
A peaceful little planet is drifting through space… but disaster is coming.
In Orbis & Disaster, you play as a lone wanderer living on a tiny planet in the middle of the cosmos. Meteors and other disasters constantly threaten your world, and survival depends on how well you prepare.
Your mission is simple: gather resources, build defenses, and protect your planet.
Gameplay

Controls
- Move around the planet by using "A" for left or "D" for right.
- Mining the the mine for gold by pressing "E" key.
- Select the cards for building the structures
You can build three different structures, each helping defend the planet in a unique way.
- Rocket Launcher: A station launching rockets straight into the sky, one every 4s
- Electric Turret: A turret zapping electricity in an area
- Barrier Reactor: A reator that generates a shield for an area
Disasters and Alien Forces
Because of not having much time for the jam, so now there are just 2 kind of enemies.
- Meteor: just a meteor from the sky
- Spaceship: shoots 1 bullets after a couple of minutes
Objective
Survive as many disaster waves as possible and achieve the highest score you can.

This project was mostly developed by myself. I worked on the game design, programming, and sprite artwork. However, the game wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of the following creators:

State of this version of the game
This project was originally created for the 2D Pixel Art Game Jam #0. Although the jam lasted two weeks, the game itself was developed in just 7 days.
Because of the limited time, the game still has several issues. Some visual elements are bugged (such as missing white outlines), and the gameplay balance is not quite where I want it to be.
I’m currently working on a patch/update to fix these problems, improve the balance, and polish the overall experience.
